TOR has access to the University of Tor Vergata animal facility of the Faculty of Medicine. This animal unit provides in vivo research support for internal & external research groups working with small rodents. At the full capacity the Unit can house 3000 cages and is equipped with procedure rooms and imaging. The Unit is fully compliant with the current EU regulation. The biomedical research team is under academic leadership and comprised of highly skilled individuals ranging from senior technicians, vets and researchers.
