The TOR Flow Cytometry facility is meant to provide powerful tools for the analysis of multi-parameters of all types of single cells and microparticles. The facility is equipped with 4 self-use FACS analysers, including two Becton Dickinson BD FACS Calibur (one enabled as cell sorter), a BD Accuri C6 and a Beckman-Coulter CytoFLEX. The systems support a variety of research and clinical applications and is complemented by a broad suite of intuitive software solutions to streamline analysis for a wide range of applications including enumeration of lymphocyte subsets, stem cells, residual white blood cells and reticulocytes. Technical support is provided to the TOR research groups for training and experimental design.
Especially the BD FACSCalibur system is appreciated for its user-friendly design, high sample throughput, improved workflow management through automation, and simple yet sophisticated software applications that enhance analyses.
